A new way into your workday

Same Wisegent. A new conversation.

MCP is an open standard that lets an AI assistant work with other tools. Wisegent’s MCP server connects the conversation to your company’s data — with access you choose.

Two visits still need a team member. Here’s the overview:

Built around your everyday work

Big picture. Small details. Just ask.

Plan with a clearer view

See visits, find unassigned work and ask who is available. The assistant can suggest team assignments.

Find what matters

Look up clients, team members, absences, work reports and invoices — within your Wisegent permissions.

Prepare the next step

Create or update a client, add or move a single visit, assign a team member or register an absence. Always preview first.

Helpful by design. Limited on purpose.

An assistant. Not the keys to everything.

You decide who connects and whether they can only read or also make confirmed changes.

  • Your permissions apply

The assistant works with the permissions of the person who connected it. No access to invoices in Wisegent means no access through MCP.

  • You confirm changes

Changes start with a preview. Nothing is saved until you confirm in the chat. You can choose read-only access instead.

  • Sensitive fields stay out

Personal identity numbers, key and alarm codes, bank details and wages are never returned by the MCP server.

  • Disconnect when you want

Revoke a connection, disable MCP for the company and view recent tool calls in Wisegent’s settings.

The assistant cannot delete records or send invoices, RUT files, payroll or messages to clients.

Data retrieved through MCP is shared with the AI service you connect. Review its privacy terms and your company’s policies before connecting.

A connection, not a new system

Keep your tools. Connect the dots.

You need a Wisegent account and an AI client that supports remote MCP connections. The AI provider’s plan and terms apply separately.

Good questions

A little more context.

Let’s talk
What is an MCP server?

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, an open standard for connecting AI assistants to tools. Wisegent’s server lets a supported assistant read company data and prepare specific changes within the connected user’s permissions.

Can I use Claude or ChatGPT?

Yes, with a client and plan that supports remote MCP connections. Claude supports custom connectors. ChatGPT uses a connector with OAuth in developer mode. Availability depends on your AI provider’s current plan and settings. Our connection guide explains the steps.

Can the assistant change things without asking?

The server requires a preview followed by a separate confirmation call before saving a change. The assistant is instructed to show the preview and ask you to confirm in the chat. You can also grant read-only access, which does not allow changes at all.

Does our data stay only inside Wisegent?

No. Information retrieved by the assistant is sent to the AI service you connect. Sensitive fields such as personal identity numbers, access codes, bank details and wages are excluded. Review the AI provider’s terms and your company’s data policies before granting access.

Do we need a developer?

Not for a supported OAuth connection: enable MCP, add the server address in your AI client and sign in to approve access. For clients without OAuth, the account owner can create a separate MCP token in Wisegent. Keep that token secret. Contact us if you need help or cannot see MCP in your account.
