iCal & Google Calendar
Bring your Wisegent jobs into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. Work appointments and everyday plans, side by side.
One iCal subscription. No duplicate entry.
A little less switching between apps
Keep planning in Wisegent. The calendar connection makes it easier to take your schedule with you.
See jobs alongside other events in the calendar you already use. No need to enter the same times twice.
Each calendar event includes its start time, end time, title and job address.
Add the subscription link once. Your calendar app then fetches the schedule again on its own refresh cycle.
The connection runs from Wisegent to your calendar and is read-only. Change bookings in Wisegent; private events are not sent back.
The right schedule for the right person
Separate subscription links give each role its own selection of bookings.
The company link shows the company schedule. Create it in Settings → General and share it only with people who should see the whole plan.
Each employee has a personal link with the confirmed jobs assigned to them. Not the entire company calendar.
Each client has a personal link with their own confirmed bookings. Other clients’ jobs are not included.
Get started with Google Calendar
Add the link as a subscription, not a one-off file import. That lets your calendar fetch future changes.
Google’s calendar subscription guideFor the company calendar, open Settings → General, generate the calendar link and copy it. Use a personal link for an employee’s or client’s schedule.
Open Google Calendar in a computer web browser. Next to Other calendars, choose + → From URL. Paste the link and add the calendar.
The calendar appears alongside your other calendars. With the same Google account and the calendar enabled, you can also see it in the mobile app.
Anyone with the link can read the schedule it provides. Share the right link with the right person. Generating a new link stops future fetches through the old one, but does not remove copies already downloaded.
Good to know before connecting
Your calendar app controls refreshes. This is not real-time sync.
Yes. The link uses the iCalendar format (.ics). In Apple Calendar, add a new calendar subscription. In Outlook, choose the option to subscribe from the web. Menu names may vary by version.
Google Calendar, Apple Calendar and Outlook decide when to fetch the subscription again. It can take several hours. Wisegent also caches the feed for up to 10 minutes. For the latest schedule, use Wisegent.
No. The subscription is read-only and runs only from Wisegent to your calendar app. Create, move or cancel jobs in Wisegent. Private calendar events are not imported into Wisegent.
The feed covers the past 30 days and the next 12 months. Cancelled jobs are excluded. Employee and client links only show their confirmed bookings. Events contain times, a title and an address, not internal notes or invoice details.
A file import copies events at a single point in time. A URL subscription lets the calendar app fetch the schedule again. Use a subscription if you want future changes to come through.
Generate a new link for the affected schedule and update the subscription for people who should retain access. The old link will no longer work for new fetches. Previously downloaded or exported data cannot be recalled.
